Casting is one of the metal forming processes which involves casting a metal or a liquid alloy into a mold to reproduce a given part (inside and outside shape) after cooling, by limiting as far as possible the subsequent finishing work.

The techniques used depend on the molten alloy, dimensions, characteristics and quantities of parts to be produced. It is usually a subcontracting industry very dependent to the purchasing sectors: automobile, iron and steel, handling equipment, industrial equipment, electrical equipment, aeronautics, armament, etc.

MIM (Metal Injection Molding)

MIM is a fusion process of two proven technologies: plastic injection molding and powder metallurgy. It offers the ability to manufacture precise, complex parts in large quantities.

The MIM process offers greater freedom of design than many other production processes by freeing designers from the traditional constraints inherent in the shaping of stainless steel, iron-nickel alloys, copper, titanium and other metals. Other benefits of MIM include:

  • MIM can integrate and consolidate multiple components into a single molded part, eliminating the need to work with multiple manufacturers and reducing processing and assembly costs.
  • Texture, knurling, nets, letters and company logos can all be incorporated into the mold, greatly reducing tooling costs.
Machining Turning

Machining is a family of techniques for the manufacture of mechanical parts by removal of chips. The principle of machining is to remove material so as to give the desired shape and dimensions to the blank, using a machine tool. By this technique, pieces of high precision are obtained.


Stamping can be done from blanks or be fed from metallic coils to ensure continuous production at high flow rates.

Stamping, commonly known as Metal stamping, is a process for the transformation and shaping of flat metal by means of dies.

Stamping is a manufacturing technique which makes it possible to obtain, from a sheet of thin metal sheet, an object whose shape is not unfoldable.


An operation by which a substance such as plaster is applied to an object or a sculpture, capable of retaining its imprint and then serving as a mold for the reproduction of an object or « proof ».

Plastic injection

Injection molding, also called plastic injection, is a process for the use of thermoformable materials, notably thermoplastic materials.

Most thermoplastic parts are manufactured with plastic injection molding machines: plastic material is softened by heat, then injected into a mold, and then cooled.

Surface Treatments

A surface treatment is a mechanical, chemical, electrochemical or physical operation which has the consequence of modifying the appearance or the function of the materials surface in order to adapt it to given conditions of use.
